Our
in-line thermoforming facility in Phoenix, Arizona develops and manufactures
packaging solutions for a national customer base and supports many of
our customers' international operations.
The Flexpak
award-winning design and engineering team utilizes its expertise along
with the latest computer technology in developing creative, cost-effective
solutions. We begin by carefully assessing your packaging criteria for
product positioning, presentation and delivery in the marketplace. Solutions
are presented which maximize the attributes of plastic thermoformed
packaging and displays - including aesthetics, higher perceived value,
product visibility and protection, and the inherent material properties
of clarity and rigidity.
With new
package development, instant and direct communications with our customers'
packaging teams are essential in today's fast time-to-market environment.
We are experienced in working with remote, multiple customer sites utilizing
electronic communications along with frequent on-site visits to maximize
the success of each development stage.
Flexpak's
state-of-the-art manufacturing operation is equipped to handle low to
high volume production runs in a variety of materials. We also offer
a full spectrum of secondary operations including R.F. sealing, heat
sealing, gluing, off-line die cutting and assembly. Our full-service
tooling department provides the resources to create prototype molds,
trial-run tools and multiple-cavity production tools.
Post-manufacturing
services include inventory management programs to facilitate min/max,
JIT and KanBan requirements. Our alliance with a multinational distribution
company provides the capability for our packaging to be inventoried
and shipped from multiple locations in Mexico and throughout the United
States with a full complement of international logistics management
and services.
From concept
development through final production, our focus is on continuous process
improvement. Consequently, the Flexpak Quality Assurance Department's
goal of "dock to stock" supplier rating has become a reality
for those customers awarding certification. Our ISO 9001 compliant quality
program provides for material lot traceabilty and SPC documentation.
